Criminal Waves presents Sub Waves 001 ft Bassador

Launched in 2009, Criminal Waves Records is a non-commercial netlabel. Bored with that BUY button that we see everywhere, we decided to only release free music. We promote upcoming artists distinguishable by the quality and rareness of their own sound. The first year has only seen drum’n bass releases, but as the time goes by and as we are getting more established, we thought that it was time to gear it up and diversify our music.

After talking about it for so long, we finally found the time to get over with our dub/dubstep offshoot on Criminal Waves. Basically called Sub Waves, we will release dub and dubstep while keeping the same spirit.

To begin with, we signed our first German artist, BASSADOR. Producer and dj from Bonn, he fuses styles, genres and tempos of electronic music. As dubstep started to spread out the Uk, he felt his power and started to dedicate his productions mainly to that genre with all the skills he acquired through the years. The quality and rare vibe he expresses through his music have reached fine and sensitive ear, giving him releases on Monkey Dub Recordings and Subbass which releases albums of German dubstep artists.
